This set contains three 150 mm polishing pads in different colours, each intended for coarse, medium and fine polishing. They fit on a 125 mm backing plate. The set includes pads in black (soft), orange (medium) and yellow (hard). These special pads have a central hole for cooling, as well as for vibration and heat dissipation. They are suitable for both eccentric and rotary polishers. The Gecko polishing pads are suitable for various polishing pastes. Generally, the hard pads are used with coarse polishing pastes, while the fine pads go together with finer polishing pastes. They have a long service life and ensure professional results for your polishing work. Applications Excellent for removing scratches and swirls on car paintwork, as well as for repairing weathered paintwork and improving gloss. Instructions for use Make sure the surface you are going to polish is clean and dry. Choose the right polishing pads and polishing paste for the task. Attach the pad firmly to the backing plate of your polisher. Apply a small amount of polishing paste to the pad. Spread the polishing paste evenly over the surface you want to polish. Switch on the polisher and start polishing at low speed. Work in sections and apply more polishing paste if necessary. Check the result regularly and repeat the process if necessary. Clean the polishing pads thoroughly after use and store them in a dry place for future use.
